Most polls have shown that the vote for Florida's 27 electoral votes will likely be close. Democrats tried to steal the election in 2000 and they will surely try again this year if it is close. That's why it is important that we have Republicans working as poll watchers on election day. You can work all day or just just part of the day. The meeting will feature a speaker advocating the passage of Amendment 8, which would require the legislature to authorize counties to hold referendums to levy a sales tax for community colleges. We will also be discussing the current crisis in the financial markets and the government's response.
