I hope you'll join us Tuesday night at the Sports Exchange (45 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables), for our monthly meeting. You'll have the chance to meet and chat with two special guests who will be speaking about opportunities to get involved.
Robert Lowry is a small business owner, a conservative with experience in the health & elder care industry, and a Republican candidate for US House district 20, the seat currently held by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Lowry will be chatting about the opportunities to get involved with the campaign including upcoming campaign precinct walks and volunteering as well as other events.
Jeb Bush, Jr. is the son of former governor Jeb Bush, nephew of President George W. Bush and grandson of President George H.W. Bush. Jeb Jr. has endorsed Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate and will be discussing the Marco Rubio campaign as well as his own story.
As usual we'll start with a social hour at 6:30 and the meeting proper at 7:30 pm. The Sports Exchange offers 2 for 1 drinks during the happy hour, so enjoy (responsibly!)
We're also having a special event Thursday, April 29 at Lakes Sports Bar & Grill (6125 Miami Lakes Blvd, Miami Lakes), at 7 pm. The event is a fundraiser for Corey Poitier, candidate for US House, District 17, the seat currently held by Kendrick Meek. Poitier is a public high school teacher and a Miami native. We'll have a dedicated room at the Sports Bar & Grill, which is owned by state representative Eddy Gonzalez. If you're interested in coming, check out or Facebook group or just come on out! |
