The Young Republicans have been around for almost 100 years, and our chapter has been in existence since 1981, to better the Republican Party by helping Young Adults in making a place at the table for Republicans of any age to be involved in the process.

One of our organization's goals is to be a political, social, and networking venue for Republicans 18 to 40. By helping our members expand their opportunities in the political field, we will help set the tone for politics in the future.

A number of elected officials and party members have been associated with the MiamiYRs, including Governor Jeb Bush, Club Pioneer Tom Gallagher, Hialeah Mayor Julio Robaina, and various State Representatives and Community Leaders.

Our efforts have helped increase the number of Republican elected officials in Miami-Dade County from a handful in 1981 to a majority of the State House, State Senate, and our Delegation to Washington.

Candidates work with our members to help in the planning and execution of their campaigns.
