The Miami Young Republicans was founded in 1981 as the Biscayne Bay Young Republicans. For nearly 30 years, the club has worked to make the voices of Republicans aged 18 to 40 heard on the national, state and local level. Miami Young Republicans members have gone on to represent us in Tallahassee and in Washington.

In 2009, our guests included candidates for races ranging from U.S. Senate and U.S. House all the way down to city commissions and local education boards. We supported campaigns, attended tea parties, volunteered, and of course had plenty of socials and networking opportunities.

The Miami Young Republicans looks to continue its momentum into 2010 as we play a key role in the key elections that will shape the face of the Republican party for years to come.
