STOP ADVERSARIAL FOREIGN INFLUENCE
Foreign Influence
SB 1178 by Grall
Expands Florida’s oversight of foreign-related political activity and influence by requiring registration and imposing restrictions on certain foreign relationships and funding, with penalties for noncompliance.
Artificial Intelligence
HB 1395 by Rizo
Prohibits governmental entities from extending, renewing, or entering into a contract for AI technology, software, or products with an entity that is associated with a foreign country of concern
Promoting Stability and Democratic Values in the Western Hemisphere
SR 1766 by Calatayud
Expresses the Florida Senate’s support for U.S. national security efforts against narco-terrorism, its concern about the political crisis in Venezuela, and its support for democratic transition and human rights in that country.
Prohibited Contracting with Covered Foreign Entities
SB 1126 by Garcia
Aims to prevent Florida government agencies from contracting with businesses linked to foreign nations of concern by imposing eligibility and certification requirements tied to national security considerations. (e.g. China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela)

Observance of Veteran's Day by K-12 Schools
SB 464 by Avila
Requires public school districts to observe Veterans’ Day as a school holiday and makes related changes to how the day is recognized in K-12 education in Florida.
Ad Valorem Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans
SB 450 by Polsky
Removing a limitation on the value of a tax exemption that a surviving spouse of a totally and permanently disabled veteran can transfer to a new residence
Law Enforcement, Correctional, and Institutional Security Specialist Officer
HB 165 by Borrero
Promoting fairness in compensation for correctional officers, correctional probation officers, and institutional security specialists.

Freedom of Speech & Religious Expression in Public Schools
HB 835 by Rep. Borrero & SB 1006 by Sen. Yarborough
Focuses on expanding protections for free expression and ensuring that schools treat political, ideological, and religious viewpoints fairly and without discrimination.

Intended to require the prompt removal of public school instructional and library materials deemed harmful to minors by expanding objection rights, defining prohibited content, and limiting consideration o
Application Stores Accountability Act
SB 1722 by Sen. Calatayud
Requires app store providers to verify the ages of account holders, obtain parental consent for minors’ accounts, protect personal information, share age-related data with developers under certain conditions, and creates civil remedies (including lawsuits by minors or parents) and enforcement mechanisms for violations.
Prohibited Sex-reassignment Prescriptions and Procedures

Provides criminal penalties for health care practitioners who willfully or actively aid or abet another in performing or attempting to perform gender-affirming care or procedures on minors in violation of existing protections.
School Choice Scholarship

Aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of school choice funding while addressing misuse or misallocation of funds
Parental Rights

Parental empowerment and control in schools; Transparency and consent around educational content and health decisions, and restricting educational access to sensitive topics without parent involvement.
IMPROVE PUBLIC SAFETY
Voter Registration and Identification
HB 985 by Jacques
An election integrity measure aimed at strengthening voter registration and identification requirements in Florida. Its primary purpose is to require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship for new voter registrations and to enhance in-person voter identification procedures at polling places.
INCREASE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Community Associations
HB 657 by Rep. Porras
Easing the regulatory burden on community associations, speeding up enforcement actions (e.g., for unpaid assessments, rule violations, or architectural changes), and giving associations more control over how they handle disputes internally or through arbitration/other methods rather than court-mandated mediation
Advanced Nuclear Reactors
HB 1461 by Rep. Miller & SB 1696 by Sen. McClain
Aims to create a Florida-specific regulatory framework to authorize, permit, and oversee the development, construction, and operation of advanced nuclear reactors, including small modular and micro reactors, while updating utility planning rules to support this emerging clean energy technology.
Housing Development
HB 313 by Rep. Nix & SB 48 by Sen. Gaetz
Require local governments to adopt ordinances allowing Accessory Dwelling Units by right, rather than as a discretionary option. This expands housing supply by making ADUs easier to build.
Affordable Housing
HB 1389 by Rep. Redondo
Expand housing opportunities and affordable housing supply in Florida by adjusting local land-use regulations and zoning rules to encourage multifamily, mixed-use, and accessory dwelling unit development.
Manufacturing

Seeks to strengthen Florida’s manufacturing base as a component of broader economic development.
Discounted Drug Pricing Study

Requires the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to conduct or contract for a study on discounted drug pricing.
